Your first visit is all about you: your comfort, your happiness, and your health

Your first New Patient Exam will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. It is a detailed exam of your medical history, including medications that may affect your mouth; a TMJ exam, perio evaluation, oral cancer screening, bite and smile analysis, airway evaluation, oral hygiene instructions, X-rays, intraoral photos, a review of treatment options, and an individualized plan if indicated, along with a cleaning. 

Subsequent regular exams will take about 60 minutes. Each regular exam includes a detailed teeth cleaning, during which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that have built up on the tooth’s surface.

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The American Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

We understand you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit our office, please remember your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
